A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students at the high school level. This position is based in Woonsocket, RI, and runs through the full school year (NSY).
The ideal candidate will hold certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), and possess specific experience working within school settings. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators, students, and families are essential.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification with CCC accreditation
- Demonstrated experience as a school-based SLP
- Skill in assessing and providing therapy for a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders in adolescents
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Location:
- High school setting in Woonsocket, Rhode Island
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions to support communication development
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
